Company: OneVector Design Company LLC
Location: Remote (Requires at least 4 hours overlap with PST)
Pay Structure: Project-based to start, with potential for a long-term contract hire.
The Role:
OneVector is looking for an elite-level Designer who operates as a Strategic Partner, not just a task-taker. We are moving toward an Outcome-Driven workflow where our designers own the success metrics of a project. Your job is to minimize the "time to live" for our clients while delivering high-converting design logic that makes the competition irrelevant.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must provide a strong portfolio that demonstrates mastery of the requirements below. We are looking for work that shows the transition from a "User Struggle" to a "Functional Outcome". If your portfolio only shows visuals without explaining the business logic or technical constraints behind them, you are not the right fit.
Elite Requirements:
Global Quality Standards: Your design skills must be of a caliber acceptable to global organizations. We are looking for "world-class" execution—sophisticated, high-fidelity work that stands out in any international market.
Dual-Sector Mastery: Equally proficient in the "clean/corporate" aesthetic of Service-based brands and the fast-paced, tactile world of E-commerce/CPG.
Expert UI/UX & ADA Compliance: You design for high conversion and accessibility as a baseline standard for every project.
Adobe XD Power-User: Mastery of XD for rapid prototyping and seamless handoff to our senior development team.
Technical Comprehension: Deep understanding of cross-browser and OS design compatibility. You must know how elements render across all major browsers and mobile operating systems to ensure a seamless experience.
Critical Thinking & Logic: You don't just follow a brief; you challenge it. You can explain how a design choice solves a specific customer "job".
Minimal Supervision: We are looking for an autonomous operator who proactively identifies and solves roadblocks before they escalate.
Why You’ll Succeed Here:
Value-First over Timesheets: We prioritize Desired Outcomes over hours spent. Efficient, high-quality work is rewarded.
Deadline Obsession: You have a proven track record of 100% adherence to project timelines.
Tool Comfortability: Mastery of modern project management tools (e.g., Notion, ClickUp, Trello). We use Fishbowl Management to keep projects transparent asynchronously.
How to Apply:
To be considered, you must follow these instructions exactly. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification.
Where to Submit: Send your application only to design@onevector.net.
What to Include:
A link to your Portfolio (ensure it highlights the requirements above).
A short but descriptive cover letter (maximum 3 paragraphs).
Cover Letter Requirements:
Explain your specific qualifications regarding UI/UX, ADA compliance, and technical compatibility.
Describe how you fit this specific JD and our "Value-First" philosophy.
Strictly NO copy-and-paste letters. We value original thought and critical thinking.
Important Note: Do NOT send messages on social media, LinkedIn, or make phone calls unless reached out to inn that manner. Otherwise, only email submissions to the address above will be entertained. This allows us to maintain a fair and organized review process.
