Exporting Contacts from the Contacts App
Before you can move the data, you need to isolate the specific group of people you want to target.
Open the Contacts app.
Apply the Filter:
Click into the Search bar at the top.
Type the name of your Tag.
Select Tag: [Your Tag Name] from the dropdown list.
Select the Records:
Switch to the List View (the three-line icon in the top right) to make selecting easier.
Click the checkbox at the top of the list to select all filtered contacts.
Note: If you have more than 80 contacts, a blue bar will appear saying "Select all [Number] records." Click that link to ensure you get everyone.
Export the Data:
Click the Actions button (the gear icon or the "Actions" dropdown) and select Export.
In the pop-up, ensure Excel or CSV is selected.
Crucial Fields: On the left side, double-click Name and Email to add them to the "Fields to export" list on the right.
Click Export and save the file to your computer.
